Using soft, washed fleece from our own flock of sheep, you'll experience the unique satisfaction of transforming natural wool into a useful finished item. Throughout the session you'll be guided step by step, learning the basic techniques needed to continue peg loom weaving at home.
By the end of the workshop you'll have:

Peg Loom Weaving Workshop – Create a Rug or Mat – £85 per person
Spend a relaxing and creative day learning the traditional craft of peg loom weaving while making your own beautiful fleece rug or floor mat. This 5-hour workshop is ideal for beginners as well as those wanting to spend more time developing their weaving skills.
You'll begin by learning how to warp a peg loom before weaving your project using washed fleece from our own flock of sheep. With plenty of individual guidance throughout the day, you'll learn the techniques needed to create a larger woven piece, gaining confidence as you work with this wonderfully tactile natural fibre.
By the end of the workshop you'll have:
Learned how to warp a peg loom.
Developed the skills needed to weave on a peg loom.
Created your own unique fleece rug or floor mat to take home.
Worked with washed fleece from our own flock of sheep.
